Texan by birth, Kevin now resides in Chicago between the cultural hot spots of Wrigleyville and Boystown.

While writing Kevin's pets Bobby, Oreo and Coo make themselves cozy. Bobby, a tabby cat, sleeps on his lap. Oreo, a tuxedo cat, prefers to yowl from a distance. Coo, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, barks at neighborhood noises and comes up for snuggles.
